Everyone is spending enormously on Internet Ads.
Here is the question which everyone should ponder over – Should we really be spending money on Internet Ads ?
Well, digital marketing is not only about paid ads. The most effective way of reaching out to audience is through Organic Route. However, the importance of Paid Ads cannot be overshadowed. Having said this, it is important to prudently target our paid ads.
Here is how I would do it:
1. Segment the target audience.
TYPE A : Those who are actively searching for your products
TYPE B : Those who require your products, but are not searching for them.
TYPE C : Those who donot want to buy your products in the next 6 months , but …..
2. Select the right Approach.
TYPE A : Be visible to them
TYPE B : Profile Targeting (Draw out their profile and start to approach them)
Type C : Content Targeting (Reach to them through content relevant to their context)
3. Where to spend your money?
TYPE A : Definitely YES ! (Do all it takes to become visible)
TYPE B : Small amount are ok. But organic may be preferred more.
TYPE C : Not at all.
